Better teaching starts with being brave enough to ask uncomfortable questions.
Hi, I’m Kyle,
Welcome, I am so glad you’re here! I built this space for teachers just like you.
I've been teaching Pilates since 2012, but my journey as an educator began long before that. As a professional dancer and dance educator, I grew up in a culture where being a good student meant being obedient, trusting your teachers, and never questioning authority. And if I'm being honest, it took me years to feel confident enough to question some of the things I'd been taught in dance, Pilates, and education.
Over the course of my career, I've had the privilege of working across dance and Pilates education, leading teacher trainings, and exploring my interests in anatomy, strength training, and exercise science. Between my passion for education and being married to a lifelong science educator, I've learned to approach what I think I know with a healthy dose of curiosity.
The more I've learned, the more I've found myself revisiting things I once accepted as fact. I've come to understand that we can only do our best with the information we have, but when we gain access to better information, we have an opportunity to update our understanding. That doesn't mean throwing out everything we once believed. It means being willing to grow, change our minds, and embrace the idea that we're all lifelong learners.
True II Form's evolution into an education platform grew directly out of this process and my passion for helping Pilates instructors grow and thrive in an ever-evolving industry.
I love Pilates, and I believe we can respect the method and its history while remaining curious about what current research and best practices can teach us.
My goal is to create approachable, practical, evidence-informed continuing education where instructors feel comfortable thinking critically, trusting their curiosity, and asking questions along the way—even when the answers aren't straightforward.
I certainly don't have all the answers, and I don't expect you to either. But I do believe that better teaching starts with being brave enough to ask uncomfortable questions.
And I hope True II Form can be a place where we feel comfortable doing just that, together.
— Kyle

What Sets True II Form Courses Apart
Evidence-Based
“Evidence-based” may be a buzzword in Pilates, but to me, it means looking beyond tradition to explore what current research and best practices tell us about exercise, pain science, and adaptation—and applying that knowledge to how we teach. It also means staying curious and being willing to update our understanding as new evidence emerges.
Practical & Applicable Learning
Understanding the science is one thing. Knowing how to apply it is another. True II Form’s courses connect exercise science to real-world teaching, so that you can put your tools to use with your clients and your classes right away!
A Safe Space for Curiosity
You don't need to have all the answers to be a great teacher. I encourage you to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and keep learning in an environment where growth is the goal.
